Boost your post workout drink with delicious pumpkin

I do realize it's nearly June but the depths of my pantry still harbor winter memories. Namely 4 cans of pumpkin puree that never got turned into pumpkin butter. I am eating so much vegetarian food these days I need that precious space for beans, quinoa and rice.

Addition of this low cal high nutrient puree amps up the flavor of my post workout drink (the nifty ninja blender helps bring it together nicely):

3 oz greek yogurt

1 c. raw organic spinach

1/3 c. pumpkin puree, unsweetened

1 tsp good quality ground cinnamon

1 c. silk coconut milk

1 scoop unflavored whey powder

ice
